The Continuously Hazy Misadventures of Captain Spliff is a comic book series starring our namesake hero Captain Spliff, and his sidekick Doobie. They hail from the city of Lidsville and spread forbidden knowledge about the endless virtues of Hemp and Cannabis in a never-ending quest to educate the public and reform our idiotic, self-destructive drug laws. Because his cause is a threat to entrenched political and corporate self-interests, he is targeted by the evil Mayor Richard Dixon (who bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain disgraced U.S. President) and his evil associates, the Undead Corporate Committee.
Together they plot against the Dank Knight, unleashing such horrors as the meth-powered supervillian Colonel Crank and the pill-popping, hippie bashing crooner Elvis Preslee. But they are nothing compared to the unholy alliance of two nefarious demons known as Harry Anslinger and William Randolph Hearst who unleash a devastating propaganda campaign against Captain Spliff and the Hemp plant.
Captain Spliff is a veracious, unconventional journey through history, one that exposes the War on Drugs as nothing more than the calamitous farce that it is, and always has been. Remember what the Cap'n says: Don't just burn it, learn it!
From the creator of Captain Spliff comes the webcomic Heaven's Gate, the sprightly tale of one spirit's journey thru the afterlife. After re-creating Benjamin Franklin's famous Kite Experiment, our protagonist Norm is electrocuted and killed. Afterwards, his soul is transported to the Hereafter where he meets his amoral guardian angel Dante, who exposes Norm to the harsh realities of a transcendental existence. As Norm quickly learns, death is only the beginning.
The illegality of cannabis is outrageous, an impediment to full utilization of a drug which helps produce the serenity and insight, sensitivity and fellowship so desperately needed in this increasingly mad and dangerous world.
